A DAY COURSE
with James Longridge
LIVING BEINGS HAVE NO FAULTS
Many people feel weighed down by their perceived faults, while others deny having any. Buddhism teaches something different: although we have delusions that lead us to harmful actions, our true nature is pure and faultless. Our delusions are not who we are.
In this day course, James will explore how identifying with our delusions creates unnecessary suffering, and how shifting our focus to our innate good qualities—our Buddha nature—brings peace, confidence, and happiness. By learning to relate to our potential rather than our faults, we can gradually uncover our limitless capacity for wisdom and compassion.
“No matter how many delusions we may have or how strong they are, they are not an essential part of our mind. They are defilements that temporarily pollute our mind but do not sully its pure, essential nature.”
