Modern life is full of distractions, leaving our minds busy, sometimes restless, and quite often overwhelmed.

Fortunately, as human beings, we have the capacity to regain control over our mental environment.


In this introductory public talk, Buddhist Monk Gen Kelsang Ananda  (with 30+ years of experience) will explain how meditation can help us experience the deep joy that comes from a peaceful, focused mind.

By learning simple methods to reduce mental noise and develop single-pointedness, we can discover a stable happiness that does not depend on external conditions.

Everyone is welcome to join this practical introduction to meditation in general and to the ensuing weekend seminar on concentration in particular.
